Kick Up Kindness with the Kindness Cowgirl

I am on the lookout for Good Deed Detectives and would love to come to your school to help make kindness contagious.

My basic kindness presentation can be simplified or elevated depending on the age of the audience. I can also add in material to suit academic needs and interests. I have spoken on many topics, in addition to kindness including: the pioneers and life in the 1800’s, dairy cows, irrigation, the Pony Express, and honey bees just to name a few.

*I also can do an author presentation for my book Cowgirl Charity’s Quest For Kindness.

I typically do a 30 minute presentation in the classroom or in an assembly setting.

BASIC OUTLINE:

Welcome and intro

Request volunteers to do a stick horse race

Educate about the wardrobe of a cowboy and dress a volunteer up, focusing on the importance of the smile

Discuss animal acts of kindness

Talk about Sergeant Reckless, an equine war hero

Gift discussion- unwrap gift with acts of kindness written inside

Discuss and recruit good deed detectives

Challenge the school to a kindness chain
